I sat there, with zero dollars in the bank and thousands in past-due bills blowing up my email.
I was faced with a choice.
To give up. Get a b******t job. And pretend to be happy.
I would go from making $4k/week to less than $30/hour.
Or, I suck it up and put what remaining brainpower I had left to use.
I don’t know if sales came natural to me, but I did know that I was good at it.
There was a problem though, no one is hiring sales right now. I needed an alternative.
I had this once coveted skill, that is now completely useless.
Until I had learned. Sales is not just a cringey battle between prospect and professional.
Sales is an idea. It is something that can be easily learned, easily replicated, and easily transferred.
Adaptability is key.
I had taken the skills I learned in sales, and transferred them into written content.
The beauty in all of this, is that once you master this skill you are no longer limited to the constraint of time and stress. It breaks you away from the physical limitations of being human.
If I can do it, anyone can.
